What 3 Words
If you haven’t already heard of, or are familiar with, the location application called “What3Words,” our RACES Team highly recommends that you install and using it.
What3Words.com is a simple and clever global addressing system that chops the world into 3-meter squares and assigns each one a unique combination of three everyday words—like apple.banana.coffee.
Instead of fumbling with long coordinates or vague directions, you can pinpoint any location—whether it’s a hidden trailhead or your favorite food truck parked behind the stadium. It’s smart, surprisingly accurate, and way easier to remember than latitude and longitude.
The app is free and can be downloaded from the Google Play store or Apple App Store.
