The Mike Maronta Seal Beach Radio Room equipment is installed in a operator console that was designed and built in 2008 and has been updated a number of times since. The Radio room is adjacent to the EOC at the Seal Beach Police Department.
The following Radio Equipment connected to “13.8 Volt Buss A” through an Astron RS-35A power supply: Yaesu FT- 8900R, Yaesu FT- 7800R, Kenwood TM-331A, and a and Kenwood TM-D710A for Winlink use. It has a high frequency radio connected to “13.8 Volt Buss B” through a Kenwood PS-50S power supply, a Yaesu FT-Dx1200.
Both power supplies and the laptop computer are connected to the
building 120 Volt supply system which is backed-up by the building’s emergency generator.
